Mount Vernon’s Spring Wine Festival & Sunset Tour celebrates the history of wine in Virginia.

Mount Vernon, is a Georgian structure that is located near Alexandria Virginia. It was George Washington’s plantation home and is a National Historic Landmark that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The neoclassical structure is located on the banks of the Potomac River.
At the Spring Wine Festival, there will be candlelit tours of the mansion with live jazz on the east lawn overlooking the Potomac. Visit the wine cellar and learn about George Washinton’s passion for wine.
To accompany the wine tasting, Fruit & Cheese Boxes are available by advance purchase only for $26.
Tickets are $35 and are on sale at the Ford Orientation Center or online.
